Your car’s fender wells are either plastic or carpeted. On both packages, we clean out these areas thoroughly, because it distract the eye when they’re dirty and can lead to accelerated corrosion. On The Works package, we take it a step further by dressing these areas in protectant. Not only does it help to prevent dirt sticking to these areas in the future, but it adds a layer of contrast to the wheel wells for more of a show-stopping look.
In correcting your car's paint, skill and delicacy are everything. Your car's paint is limited, and every time it's polished, you're permanently removing clear coat. SImilar to how you wouldn't want an inexperienced surgeon to work on your body, it's worth paying for expertise because there's no do-overs (short of a multi-thousand dollar repaint. On some classic cars, a repaint can cost you $50k in lost resale value!)
On the day of your preservation detail, I'll inspect the paint with you present. I'll take the opportunity to gauge your expectations, ask you about areas problem areas that are of importance to you, and measure the paint. I use a paint depth gauge to ensure there's enough paint to safely polish your car without strikethrough.
After doing the key exchange, I'll get to work performing my test spot. I'll find the optimal combination of techniques, polishes, pads and machines to deliver you the best possible finish while protecting the longevity of the paint.

I prefer AMMO Reflex Pro II as my coating of choice. It's the coating on my personal vehicles. However, if you have one you'd prefer me to use, I am happy to install it following paint correction. In my experience though, the AMMO coating provides the best looking, long lasting results for the money.
Many detailers skip this step, because it takes time and is not immediately noticeable (or don't even know of its importance). Most seat shampoos are alkaline cleaners--they need to be alkalies to be effective. Without proper extraction and neutralization, your seats retain residual shampoo that accelerates degradation, increases resoiling, and can leave them feeling brittle.
Our approach is different. We use proper upholstery cleaners to remove the stain, neutralize the pH and extract every last drop, leaving nothing in them but H20 so they can safely and quickly dry.
