FAQ

Find answers to frequently asked questions here.

What do you need to work on my car?
+
I need a place to park my unit nearby (Ford F-150) so my equipment is accessible. I have over 200 pounds of gear, so parking a few blocks away is not practical. Water and electricity is onboard my Ford F-150. I will also need your key to give you the best possible result (to roll down windows and clean behind shift lever, etc).
How long does a detail usually take?
+
The duration of the detail will depend on the type of car, the condition, and the package requested. However, in general a full, interior/exterior base package will take about 5 hours for a sedan. A Preservation Detail (paint correction/ceramic coating) takes about 20-25 hours (more with wheel removal and suspension cleaning). .I am much more thorough than most detailers as reflected in the amount of time I'll be working on your car.‍
What is your service area?
+
I serve the DMV (Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia). I am completely mobile, so I'll come to you! I live outside College Park, MD and service all the surrounding areas for no surcharge. Hyattsville, Beltsville, Northern Virginia, Mclean, Bethesda, and Severna Park I do many cars for-- chances are I'll be in your area soon, and can get your car done in a timely manner. If you're outside my service area but would still like to work me, please reach out!
Do I need to provide water or electricity access?
+
Not necessary! I have 100 gallons of water in my detailing unit. The water is filtered twice to prevent water spotting. I always have a generator, but if you have electrical nearby, I may ask to plug in as it will cut down on noise from the generator running.
Are the chemicals you use environmentally safe?
+
Yes. I know environmental concerns are important to many of our customers. When I detail, we use less water than an average shower, due to how thin pressure washers shoot water. The detergents used are all EPA certified and only two types of diluted detergents actually touch the ground. With any concerns, reach out and I can send you EPA paperwork for the products I use.‍
Are you mobile or do you have a physical location?
+
I am completely mobile! No need to worry about the logistics of a drop off and pickup.
